SOULCAP
This year, SOULCAP had the opportunity to host 3 events at CYTO 2025 in Denver --- with the help of CYTO conference organizers and SOULCAP backer, ISAC.
Our first event was the SOULCAP Connect Open Meeting: An open form event for everyone to Connect!
We had almost 100 SOULCAP-ers in the room supporting the initiative and getting updates on what we have been up to so far.
Our second event of the day was the SOULCAP Workshop "Automating Immune Cell Annotation": An interactive session where we discuss standardizing and automating immune cell annotation in cytometry.
The SOULCAP Bioinformatics committee gave a presentation of how we plan to standardize flow cytometry gating templates. These templates would act as the go-to resource for automating previously designed gates on future samples.
The last event we had was the SOULCAP Plenary Talk "SOULCAP: Global Standardization of Immune Cell Population Identification and Semantic Annotation"
Here, SOULCAP-ers presented the initiative, what our mission is, and what we plan to do: To establish the globally accepted standard for identifying immune cell populations through cytometry.
